Homeowners in earthquake-prone regions needed a reliable way to understand the structural risk of their buildings without navigating complex engineering processes. We built a mobile app that makes earthquake risk assessment accessible through a guided data entry flow and two service tiers designed to match different needs, ranging from an instant automated report to a detailed analysis prepared by an expert team.

Solution
We designed a clear two-tier flow where users register their properties and enter building details through a straightforward form. The free tier generates an automated PDF risk report from the submitted data. The paid tier routes the same submission, along with required photos, to an admin panel where the team reviews the information, runs additional analysis, and delivers a detailed report within 48 hours. Both flows end with the user downloading their report directly from the app.


Features
Users can register multiple properties, each with its own name, address, floor level, age, and location data. The paid tier prompts photo uploads from specific areas of the building to support a more thorough expert review. The admin panel gives the team full control over incoming submissions, report status tracking, and PDF delivery without leaving the platform. Notifications keep users informed when their report is ready or when additional information is needed.

Result
The app gave homeowners a structured and accessible way to understand the earthquake risk of their properties without requiring any technical expertise. The two-tier model allowed users to choose the level of analysis that matched their needs, from an instant automated report to a detailed expert assessment.
