We designed a short interactive onboarding that asks users how they travel, where they usually go, and what matters most to them before bringing them straight into the app. From there, users choose between buying a fixed data package for a specific country, region, or a single Global eSIM that covers 105 countries without reinstalling for each destination, and loading a wallet balance to pay only for the data they actually use. A guided setup tutorial walks first-time users through the eSIM installation process step by step, removing the friction that makes most eSIM apps feel technical and hard to use.

The home screen shows active eSIM status, remaining data, current balance, and quick access to country selection and pricing in a single view. The Countries section lets users browse plans by individual country, regional package, or a single Global eSIM that works across 105 countries without needing to switch or reinstall for each destination, with Pay As You Go and Fixed Plan options clearly presented side by side for every choice. The wallet system lets users top up any amount, apply coupon codes, and track every transaction in a full balance history. My eSIMs manages all active and pending eSIMs in one place, with QR code installation, activation, and deactivation handled entirely inside the app.

The app launched with travelers who had previously avoided eSIMs because the setup felt too complicated. Early users moved from onboarding to an active connection faster than they expected, and the wallet model gave frequent travelers a way to manage their data spend without committing to a new package for every trip. Nova continues to grow as the go-to eSIM app for travelers who want global coverage without the friction.
