The client wanted a clean and reliable tool to record business and personal phone calls. The goal was to build an app that works smoothly during real calls, keeps recordings private, and makes playback simple for users of any experience level.
Objective
We designed Taps Rec around a smooth call flow. Users can start recording with one tap and see all saved calls in an organized list. A short tutorial explains setup and permissions clearly. We focused on easy navigation, minimal setup steps, and secure data storage.
Features
The app records incoming and outgoing calls with high audio quality. Saved recordings appear in the Records screen with time, date, and caller info. Users can rename, delete, or share files directly. PIN verification and private storage keep all conversations safe and accessible only to the user.
Result
This app helped users keep accurate call logs for work, meetings, and interviews. Feedback highlighted its clarity and simple design. The app maintained high retention thanks to its stable recording process and fast access to stored files.
