The client wanted a simple tool for hobbyists and resellers to identify coins fast. Neon Apps developed vCoin to help users take a photo and get clear information without searching manuals. The aim was accuracy, speed, and easy reading while collecting or trading.
Solution
We placed the camera at the center of the experience. The app guides users on lighting and framing before scanning. Clear result screens show the key facts first, then allow users to open more details if needed. This keeps the process focused and easy to use during real collecting sessions.
Features
vCoin suggests better angles when taking a photo to improve recognition. After scanning, the app lists likely matches with confidence labels. Each coin page shows country, year, mint mark, composition, and known variants. A value section displays recent market ranges and condition notes. Users can save coins to collections with tags for future reference.
