Neon Apps x RevenueCat App Growth Championship 2026 Launches in Istanbul
The Neon Apps x RevenueCat App Growth Championship 2026 has officially launched in Istanbul, bringing together developers, product builders, and startup teams interested in building subscription based mobile applications.
The response from the developer community has already been strong.
587 teams are currently filling out the application, and 75 teams have already submitted their applications to compete in the championship.
Organized by Neon Apps in partnership with RevenueCat, the competition focuses on building and scaling subscription driven mobile apps. Selected teams will participate in a 48 hour hackathon in Istanbul, where they will develop a mobile product, integrate RevenueCat’s subscription infrastructure, and design real growth strategies.
Applications are open until March 23, and teams interested in competing still have time to apply.
20 Teams Will Be Selected to Compete
From all applications, 20 teams will be selected to participate in the hackathon.
Teams must consist of 2 to 4 members, and they will compete in a 48 hour product building challenge focused on creating subscription driven mobile applications.
Key Dates
Application Deadline: March 23
Hackathon Dates: April 10 - 12
Location: Neon Apps Office, Istanbul
During the hackathon, teams will build a mobile application prototype, design a subscription monetization model, and implement RevenueCat integration to simulate a real subscription product environment.
At the end of the event, five finalist teams will be selected to continue to the next phase.
The Two Month Growth Phase
Following the hackathon, the five finalist teams will enter a two month Growth Phase where they will continue developing and scaling their products.
During this phase, teams will work closely with industry experts and growth partners, including Scate AI, focusing on real user acquisition and monetization strategies.
This phase includes hands-on support in areas such as:
App growth strategy
Subscription pricing models
Paywall optimization
Revenue tracking and analytics
User retention strategies
Selected teams will also receive marketing support and growth operations provided by Scate AI, allowing them to test real acquisition strategies and scale their apps with professional growth infrastructure.
Prizes and Opportunities
The championship offers multiple rewards designed to help teams turn their ideas into real products.
Grand Prize
The winning team will receive a fully sponsored trip to New York, where they will attend RevenueCat App Growth Annual (RAGA) 2026, one of the leading global events for subscription app growth.
All major travel expenses will be covered.
Additional Rewards for Finalist Teams
Finalist teams will also receive several additional opportunities, including:
• Growth partnership with Scate AI, including marketing support and budget for scaling their app
• $10,000 in Fal AI credits to support AI development and infrastructure
• 40% discount on RevenueCat subscription infrastructure for 12 months
• Market validation support from Anka Ventures, providing $10,000 – $50,000 in validation budget for up to three selected teams
In addition, Anka Ventures may also offer potential investment opportunities ranging from $150,000 to $500,000 to selected teams during the program, depending on product potential.
