NYC Hosts Turkish App Founders with Neon Apps & RevenueCat

This spring, we partnered with RevenueCat to bring a group of Turkish mobile app founders to New York City. The goal was to connect them with the global app community during a week filled with major industry events, including App Growth Annual and App Week NYC. This trip was about creating connections, sharing knowledge, and showcasing the growing talent within Turkey's tech scene.

A Partnership for Growth

Our collaboration with RevenueCat started with a shared goal: to support the Turkish mobile app ecosystem. RevenueCat provides the tools for building and managing in-app subscriptions, which is a key part of success for many of the founders we work with. By joining forces, we can offer a more complete set of resources to developers, helping them build high-quality products and grow their businesses on a global scale. This trip was a direct outcome of that partnership, designed to give Turkish founders firsthand exposure to the international app market.

Inside the NYC Trip

The week was packed with learning and networking opportunities. It kicked off with App Growth Annual, where attendees heard from industry leaders on topics like user acquisition, retention, and monetization. This was followed by App Week NYC, a series of events, workshops, and meetups held across the city. Our group attended sessions that offered practical advice and a look at future trends in mobile technology. It was a valuable opportunity for the founders to gain new perspectives and apply fresh ideas to their own products.

The Turkish Tech Founders Meetup

A key event of the week was the Turkish Tech Founders Meetup, which we organized with RevenueCat. The event brought together over 100 people, including founders, investors, and representatives from major tech companies like Google and Meta. It was a fantastic evening of networking, where our group had the chance to build relationships with key figures in the industry. The energy was incredible, and it was clear that there is a strong interest in what Turkish developers are building.

Insights from the Trip

The feedback from the trip was overwhelmingly positive. Participants told us that the direct access to industry experts and the chance to connect with peers was extremely valuable. Jacob Eiting, CEO of RevenueCat, noted the impressive growth and quality of apps coming from Turkey. He mentioned that events like this are important for strengthening the global app community. For the founders, it was an opportunity to see that their work stands on a global stage and to return home with new confidence and strategies.

What This Means for Turkish Tech

This trip was more than just a series of events. It represented a step forward in connecting the Turkish app ecosystem with the rest of the world. We believe in the talent and potential of Turkish founders, and we are committed to creating more opportunities for them to succeed. Following the success of this trip, we are already planning future initiatives to continue building these bridges. Our work with partners like RevenueCat is just beginning, and we look forward to supporting the next wave of great apps from Turkey.
